3 suspected drug pushers killed in Danao City shootout

POLICE killed three suspected drug pushers in a shootout in Sitio Libon, Barangay Guinsay, Danao City at 2:05 a.m. Tuesday, March 14.

The fatalities were identified as Julius Gacita, the group's alleged leader and a resident of Dawis, Carmen; his cohorts Dexter Giango of Looc, Danao City; and a certain Edwin of Looc, Danao City.

No one from the police was hit.

Four suspected drug pushers were killed in the past four days.

Seized from the group were 12 small and four medium packs of white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as "shabu," and proceeds amounting to P1,000.

Police also recovered a KG submachine gun, caliber .45 pistol, .38 revolver, seven bullets, and 16 empty shells. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
