A WATCH repairman was gunned down by four unidentified men on board two motorcycles in front of a department store on Gonzaga Street, Barangay 12 in Bacolod City early Monday morning.

Police identified the fatality as Rolando Cuison, 56, of Zone 2, Barangay Handumanan, who once served as force multiplier under the Bacolod City Police Office.

Cuison was sleeping on the sidewalk when one of the assailants fired at him around 2:30 a.m. and fled. He succumbed to head injuries.

The gunman’s companion served as a driver while two others served as lookouts.

Investigators recovered a bullet shell and three cartridges of .45 caliber pistol, wallet containing driver’s license and several identification cards, cash amounting to P1,010, and a wristwatch.

Senior Inspector Eugene Tolentino, head of Police Station 1 said they are eyeing grudge behind Cuison's death.
Investigation is ongoing.

A woman was stabbed to death by her partner inside their house at Purok Totong 4, Barangay Felisa in Bacolod City Sunday.

Senior Inspector Ramel Bustamante, head of Police Station 10, identified the fatality as Charlene Moya, 24, of Cauayan, Negros Occidental.

Investigation showed that Moya and her partner Jobert Torno, 27, of Hinoba-an town had a heated argument.

Torno was under the influence of intoxicating liquor when he stabbed Moya using a “double blade.”

Moya succumbed to a lone stab wound in her neck.

Bustamante said Torno would usually hurt Moya if he's drunk, based on the statements of the couple’s neighbors.
