P100,000 reward up for info on road rage suspect

A P100,000 reward awaits anyone who can give any information about the person responsible for the road rage that led to the shooting of a nurse in Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City, on Sunday, March 19.

Mayor Tomas Osmeña, in a Facebook post on Sunday, said the man behind the shooting of Ephraim Nuñal, a nurse from Talisay City, was identified already. He refused to name the suspect as police are still verifying the information.

Nuñal suffered gunshot wounds on his left thigh and right ankle.

Osmeña said the public who wish to provide information can contact Councilor Dave Tumulak or the Cebu City Police Office Homicide Division at (032) 266 5494.

The shooting happened when Nuñal honked at the suspect for stopping at the center of the road. The suspect disembarked from his car and a verbal fight between the two ensued.

The suspect went back inside his car and pulled out a caliber .22 pistol and shot the victim several times. (SunStar Philippines)
