Korean national drowns in swimming pool

A 69-YEAR-OLD Korean national drowned in the swimming pool of a resort in Barangay Alegria, Cordova, Sunday morning, March 19.

Police identified the casualty as Soon Nam Choi.

The victim, before she was found floating lifeless, was swimming with her friends and family.

She was rushed to a private hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.

Dr. Dexter Daquipa found no signs of foul play in the foreigner's death. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
