Duterte's senior military adviser named new PSG chief

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has named his senior military adviser, Colonel Lope Dagoy, as the new head of Presidential Security Group (PSG).

Dagoy was appointed on Tuesday, replacing Brigader General Rolando Bautista, who has been tasked to lead the 1st Infantry Division in Zamboanga del Sur.

The formal change of command rites will be held Thursday afternoon at PSG Grandstand.

A graduate of Philippine Military Academy "Hinirang" Class 1987, Dagoy served as chief-of-staff of Eastern Mindanao Command in Davao City. (SunStar Philippines)
