7 nabbed in drug bust

SEVEN persons were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by personnel of San Carlos City Police Station at San Juan Village, Barangay Rizal Sunday afternoon.

Police identified the suspects as Analyn Manguin, 35, Norwena Go-oc, 26, Pablito Bayot, 30, Hazel Go-oc, 26, Rachel Onlagada, 37, all residents of Barangay Rizal; Norex Caballero, 29, and Feliciano Ricaborda, 30, both resident of San Juan, Sipaway Island, all in San Carlos City.

Superitendent Victorino Romanillos Jr., chief of San Carlos City Police Station, said Maguin, Bayot, Onlaga, and the Go-ocs were conspiring with each other in selling of illegal drugs in Barangay Rizal.

They sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer for P100.

Police recovered from their possession a small plastic sachet of suspected shabu and the P100 marked money.

Police also recovered 21 heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu, and one empty plastic sachet with traces of suspected shabu

Romanillos said Caballero and Ricaborda were also inside the house during the operation.(MAP)
