AS PART of the Fire Prevention Month, La Trinidad Fire Station continually monitors the town against any untoward fire accidents.

With the theme “Buhay at Ari-Arian ay Pahalagahan, Ibayong Pag-iingat sa Sunog ay sa Sariling Pamayanan Simulan,” Senior Fire Officer IV Patrick Coy-om said the fire station conducted various activities for the observance of fire prevention month which includes fire truck visibility among the barangays for residents to be more cautious against fire.

Coy-om added pamphlets were also distributed in the valley giving tips on what to do in case a fire occurs in their area. Aligned with the theme of preventing fire incidents, the La Trinidad Fire Station is highly encouraging volunteers of every barangay to activate their trainings to be able to help in the near future.

To date, only one fire incident were recorded in the municipality, a forest fire at barangay Pico. Coy-om said the fire was immediately contained while no injuries were recorded during the incident.
