TEN persons, including a minor, were arrested for sale and possession of illegal drugs while six men, including four minors, were apprehended for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition in separate operations in Negros Island Thursday, March 23.
In Negros Occidental, eight persons under the street level target drugs list of San Carlos City Police Station were arrested in a buy-bust on S. Carmona Street, Pantalan, Barangay 6.
Police identified the target as Thelma Diolaso, 53. She had surrendered through Oplan Tokhang, but failed to stop her illegal drug trade.
Also arrested inside her house were her live-in partner, whose name was not revealed; her sons Saint Paul Diolaso, 20; Jeofrey Diolaso, 25; and relatives Marco Balasabas, 50; Winston Gadiane, 29; Niño Gadiane, 22; Robert Himongala, 20; and a minor.
The subject sold shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to a police agent for P600.
Allegedly recovered from the suspects were three sachets of shabu weighing 5.6 grams and valued at P56,000, drug paraphernalia, cellular phone, P1,400 cash, and the P600 marked money.
Also collared were Vioar Sison, 24 and Raymund De Erit, 18, both residents of San Esteban, Barangay Zone 12-A, Talisay City, after police seized from them two improvised 12 gauge shotguns with four live ammunition.
Their four minor companions were also placed under police custody.
In Negros Oriental, Franklin Navarro, 31, of Barangay Puan, Vallehermoso town was arrested for possession of a .9mm caliber revolver with three live ammunition and a sachet of shabu.
