THIRTEEN water districts in the country recently gathered for a forum on ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System organized by the AGF Consulting Group-Philippines.
The participants were Malay Water District, Cadiz City Water District, Calbayog City Water District, Sultan Kudarat Water District, Toledo City Water District, Cagayan de Oro City Water District, Surigao Metro Water District, Murcia Water District, Hinatuan Water District, Metro Roxas Water District, Zamboanga City Water District, Digos City Water District and Baybay City Water District.
Section 1 of Executive 0rder 605, amending Administrative Order 161, known as Institutionalizing Quality Management Systems in Government provides for the ISO 9001 certification of all departments and agencies of the executive branch, including government-owned and/or controlled corporations and government financial institutions, state universities and colleges, local government units, judiciary, legislature, and Constitutional offices.
Speakers included Engr. Edward Remo and Josefina Salvacion Manugas, Carcar Water District general managers; Engr. Henry Saludar of the Department of Health 7; and Mark Jeffrey Pantaleon, AGF process consultant-team lead.
