SUMMER is definitely here! And, now have a chance to learn while having fun!

Joining Cordillera School of Digital Arts Inc.’s Summer Arts and Animation Workshop will provide you opportunities to put your artistic skills to use alongside your interests. It is also a chance to get to know others who have similar interests and have a great time to learn and experience activities not usual in the classroom setting.

CSDA has been offering summer arts programs since 2007. Our goal is to hone skills on different areas and help students create their own portfolio of projects, while enjoying their summer vacation. The knowledge and skill sets from the workshops will be helpful in the future for projects in school since it enhances creativity and ability to think “out-of-the-box”.

The school has crafted programs for all ages catering to a variety of interests with locals from the community teaching the summer classes. The knowledge and skill sets from the workshops enhance creativity and ability to think out of the box.

CSDA offers the city’s finest and skilled instructors, quality facilities (such as computers, lightboxes, and up-to-date creative digital applications for each student), and a fun learning environment. The programs are designed to be four weeks with 60 hours in total with individual classes offered good for 15 hours divided into 3 hours in a day.

Exciting Summer Art Programs for kids starts from those aged 5 to 10 to perfect for the Arts and Crafts programs while tweens aged 11 and up can pre occupy themselves with Drawing, Painting, Animation and Handicrafts.

Programs for teens aged 15 and above can avail of courses in photography and Creative Media Arts that includes symbol design, digital painting, Layout and publication design, marketing collateral design and 3D modeling.

Meanwhile, our Drawing Classes that includes basic and advanced stages teaching portraiture and caricature, human figure, landscape and perspective are also offered. While painting program will include acrylic, oil, watercolor and coffee mediums.

At our Animation workshop, we will include character design, traditional hand drawn figures, basic 2D digital animation and advance digital animation.

For those who love home crafts, like, crochet, quilting and jewelry making are offered. And for Photography enthusiasts who enjoys landscape, portraiture and product photography you will have a chance to take Basic and advanced Photography.

CSDA has pooled a group of professionals to be part of the annual summer program, all maters in their fields and sharing the love for community as all are locals from the city wanting to share their talent to interested students for the summer, guest teachers, Tiff Bahni will be in charge of photography while Marc Chan leads in the Creative Media Arts. Ira Gapasin Noefe will head workshop in handicraft making.

CSDA’s Daryl Guzman and former apprentice Klarisse Medina takes the lead in Drawing and Animation Classes, and Painting Programs as well as Arts and Crafts.
