CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- The Regional Communications and Electronic Office-3 (RCEO3) here, has installed several communications equipment in Central Luzon.

Superintendent Dioscoro Mataa, chief of RCEO3, said some of their major accomplishments for the second semester of 2014 and first quarter this year, include the installation of a conventional repeater at Mt. Samat, Pilar and the installation of radio relay in Bagac, both in Bataan.

The installation of a radio relay in Bagac is for the schedule APEC meeting, Mataa said.

Another conventional repeater was installed at Aurora Police Provincial Office, he said.

The RCEO3 also restored a repeater site at Sta. Rita, Zambales.

The installation of radio relays and repeaters will be a big help for the Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel for faster communication, Mataa said.

With the new installations, the PNP will boost its campaign against lawless elements, he said.

The installation of communication facilities in the region is part of Patrol Plan 2030 being implemented by RCEO3, Mataa said. (Ric Sapnu)
