IN CELEBRATION of its 42nd anniversary Green Valley and Country Club will be holding a Sunshine Festival this coming April 10 to 16.
Event head Yang Bautista said the festival is set to showcase artists from the Cordillera region and other parts of the country.
Bautista said they want to help showcase the different talents of various artists.
Invited during the six day festival are members of the Baguio Arts Guild, Pasa-Kalye Group of Artists, Baguio Museum Artists Group, Baguio-Benguet Photographers, Hikers and Artists Club.
Song and dances will be performed during the festival that will also include workshops by different artists while local products will also be showcased during the weeklong event.
Bautista said the festival is open to the public.
Albert Lim of Esla Land Developer said the festival also hopes to attract more tourists at the Green Valley Subdivision with more than a thousand home owners.
The developer also aims to promote the subdivision as a tourism hub in Baguio City.
“We want to make Baguio City as a vacation place and also to revive Green Valley Subdivision by developing it. As we help improve tourism here, we will be also showcasing different talents during the festival that will be surely appreciated by many people,” Lim said.
