JOSE Aubrey Pelayo IV, or known as Jay Pelayo IV, was chosen as the president of Metro Angeles City Journalists Association, Incorporated (Macjai) last Tuesday, April 4.
Macjai is an energy press corps representing the provinces of Pampanga and Tarlac created by the National Grid Corporation (NGCP)’s substation in Mexico, Pampanga, together with the media practitioners in Central Luzon.
Pelayo became the Pampanga provincial correspondent of ABS-CBN DZMM before being heard as the main anchor in GVFM 99.1's Agyu Tamu Angeleños and another blocktime program entitled "Abe Ka, Abe Tamu Angeleños” on RW95.1FM.
He is also opinion writer of SunStar Pampanga and hosts a local TV magazine show called “Inside Pampanga” on GNN 44.
Pelayo thanked the people who unanimously supported and trusted his leadership.
During his speech, he vowed to do his best and he accepted the challenges ahead but he believes he can achieve the goals with the help of his colleagues and the support of the NGCP. (PR)
