Bingsoo-ing

WE HEARD about Bingsoo, a Korean shaved ice dessert, from friends and friends of friends through the social media and so we venture to this Korean restaurant in Davao City which serves it.

I went to Noon Saram Korean Cafe, which is situated just along J.P. Laurel Avenue, with friends Ace and Doit and we agreed to order Bingsoo with different flavors.

Ace ordered the Mango Bingsoo, Doit had the strawberry while I chose the Banana Bingsoo. We took the small bowls though but even so, it was still too much for our stomachs. They served Bingsoo very generously.

The greatest thing about going there with friends is that you can try out as many flavors as you can since you can always asked for a spoonful of Bingsoo that your friends ordered. That's what we did and we were never disappointed.

The shaved ice was done so nicely that it felt very fine and light to the tongue. The taste of the Bingsoo suits well to those who have adventurous tastebuds. The sweetness was just right. Sweeet!

After posting Instagram photos of the Bingsoo and sharing them on Facebook, we learned from colleagues though that the cheese Bingsoo was the best. So the next time we'll go Bingsoo-ing, we already know which flavor to take.
