THE beach wedding of Tomas, youngest son of Bomber and Miren Lopez Zayco, and Martina Teodoro Quirino, daughter of Macci Teodoro (Martina is the great granddaughter of President Elpidio Qurino) was an event that spelled FUN, FUN, FUN!
Held at the Punta Bulata Resort (owned by the Lopezes and the Zaycos and now managed by Tomas) the wedding was a three-day celebration or was it more? The before-during-after parties were non-stop family bonding, drinking, partying and more drinking.
Tomas walked down the aisle with Mom Miren, while Martina was given away by Eddie Boy Ledesma. Martina has been like a daughter to both Eddie and Dory Teodoro Ledesma as she spent many years with the couple while Mom Macchi is in the States.
Martina’s Dad has passed away while Martina was a child. Eddie Boy is always so quick to claim that Martina is like their very own daughter.
Solemn Catholic marriage vows were exchanged in Punta Bulata’s chapel with the cool summer breeze blowing amidst green foliage and spring blossoms. To the delight of all, Tomas sealed the forevermore promise not only with a kiss but executed with a dip!
To be young and in love……what a blessing and a bliss! What did Tomas and Martina do to baptize this union? They both jumped into the pool in all their wedding fineries!
