While on their way to the camp, Eduard Moritz developed his swimming skills with the Addu swimming team and trained cycling with the General Santos triathletes under coach Jerome Wee.

The 20 day-long training camp, which is spearheaded by national team coach and camp director Kevin Eijansantos, however, is organized by the Triathlon Association of the Philippines and funded by the Philippine Sports Commission.

"It's an invitational camp for YOG Candidates and members of the Philippine Team Development Team for Triathlon," Ed said, adding that the camp focuses on skills development on the three disciplines including swimming, cycling and running as well as race strategies.
