AN INSURANCE company has signed an agreement with a Cebu-based finanicial service firm to allow its clients to make payments using their facility.

MLhuillier Financial Services Inc. signed a memorandum of agreement with Caritas Financial Plans Inc. Wednesday, formalizing their partnership.

MLhuillier president Michel J. Lhuillier and Caritas Financial Plans president and CEO Eliseo Dizon Jr. led the signing together with Cecilia Lumapas, MLhuillier financial services division manager, and Caritas chief marketing officer and Enrique de la Cruz.

Caritas offers life and health insurance, pension, retirement, and financial plans.

With the partnership, Caritas planholders can easily pay their premiums in over 9,000 bills payment sites all over the country.

“People now are concerned with distance”, said Lhuillier, adding that catering to millions of Filipinos nationwide means bringing the service closer to them. “We want to serve the population. We want to be where the customers are so they don’t have to travel far,” he said.

Caritas, which was established about eight years ago, believes that the alliance with M. Lhuillier will strengthen their business operations. “With more presence, we can expand drastically.”, said Dizon; and that the great synergy between them will be a great start towards his goal of being on top. “We would like to be the biggest in the industry,” Dizon added.
