Calamcam white sand beach

THE province of Misamis Oriental is very blessed that it’s located beside the coastal area. The province offers lots of resources coming from the sea which include various beaches. Some of the popular beaches are located in the towns of Initao and Opol, respectively.

I have explored some of the beaches here and only few beaches attract me the most. One of those is located at the Municipality of Talisayan. The small town is almost two hours from Cagayan de Oro City when you’re riding a bus and almost three hours if you’re coming from Butuan City.

The Calamcam White Beach is known for its name because of its remarkable white sand that is very popular among residents for a long time. The beach is open to everyone, you can bring food and drinks to enjoy while you lay down blankets under the tree. There are places also located at the beach that offer affordable cottage use and overnight stay and you can bring with you a tent that serve as your sleeping area overnight. The residents near the beach area are very accommodating and helpful.

It’s advisable to bring along with you your food and other hygiene needs, as the facilities of the beach are not yet fully developed. The place is private and solemn due to the minimal number of persons visiting the beach.

The sand of the beach is very nice and it actually pass my expectation. The sea is not that salty and you can swim and enjoy the vast nature in front of you. You will be in love with the combination of green and blue color of the sea and get your cameras ready for selfies and Instagram-worthy shots of different spots of the beach.

The good thing of the place, you can enjoy the beach without hurting our pocket. As for me, I always consider the expenses incurred during my trips.

Everyone, let’s start our summer at Calamcam White Beach Resort. If we think that our province has no more to offer. You’re probably wrong and have not explored the Misamis Oriental. Go and have an adventure!
