ANGEL Locsin celebrated her 32nd birthday with film producer Neil Arce.
On Sunday, April 23, close friends of the television actress organized a surprise birthday party as Locsin turned a year older.
Arce was among the personalities who attended the private event, he was even caught on video handing the actress a bouquet of flowers.
He was also beside Locsin when the actress was presented with her birthday cake.
The film producer took to image-sharing application Instagram to wish Locsin a happy birthday.
Arce reflected on their seven-year-old friendship and said he was excited for what the future will bring.
"Happy birthday Gel! Amazing what 7 years of friendship has done to us! Excited to see what's next," he wrote.
Rumors of Locsin and Arce dating started when the two were photograph with friends during a holiday break in Hong Kong.
Both camps remained tight-lipped about the issue but Locsin confirmed in a previous interview that she's now seeing a new guy after her failed romance with television host Luis Manzano.
Arce's ex-girlfriend Bela Padilla also confirmed that the former is back in the dating scene again.
"Actually, alam ko naman na nagdi-date na si Neil. I didn't ask for specifics, but I'm aware that he's already in the dating scene. I'm okay with that," she said.
When pressed if he's seeing Locsin, Padilla said she's not in the position to talk about it as she was given specific instructions by Arce not to say anything.
"I'm not sure if I'm allowed to answer these questions because he's right there. And he firmly told me not to answer questions about him. Firmly being the operative word. Actually wala na akong say," she said.
Padilla and Arce broke up late last year while Locsin has been single for some time since things ended with Manzano early 2016. (SunStar Philippines)
