Water supply out in some parts of Davao on April 27-28

DAVAO City Water District (DCWD) advises of two separate sets of water service interruptions.

First set will be from 8 p.m. of April 27 until 6 a.m. of April 28, affecting Gallera de Oro Subdivsion in Bago Gallera and these Bago Aplaya areas: portion of Bago Aplaya Road (from corner Davao-Cotabato Road to Bago Seaside and immediate environs) and entire Bavnai Village, Saavedra Neighborhood Association Inc., School for the Blind, and Catotal Subdivision.

This water service interruption is needed to allow DCWD’s crew to realign its steel pipe crossing at Bago Bridge, McArthur Highway for preventive maintenance purposes.

Second set will be on April 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. affecting the entire M. Lozano Subdivsion, Summerhill Village, and Guadalupe Village in Lanang.

This water service interruption is needed for the mainline improvement work at 12th St. Guadalupe Village in Lanang.

Once completed, the project will allow for accommodation of additional water service connections.

The DCWD management asks for the understanding and cooperation of would-be affected customers.

They are also advised to store enough water prior to the scheduled water interruptions.

Water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.

The general public may visit DCWD website (www.davao-water.gov.ph) and official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/davaowater) or call the Central Information Unit/Call Center through the 24-hour hotline 297-DCWD (3293) and press “1” on their phone dial for the latest daily water updates. Contact 0927-7988966, 0925-5113293, and 0908-4410653 for other updates, complaints, queries, and matters pertaining to DCWD services. (Winston C. Ajero)
