Bongbong Marcos’ supporters held vigil at Supreme Court

SUPPORTERS of Bongbong Marcos (BBM) converged anew at the Supreme Court (SC) with lighted candles in a show of support for their candidate and the speedy disposition of the decision from SC justices.

Frank Esquilon from the BBM team said 400 supporters have joined them in their silent protest in front of court asking for the SC to render an impartial decision over an election fraud case files in high courts.

“Today, April 25 is the 295th day of waiting to the SC of their decision about the recount of election votes and the election fraud,” Esquilon said.

The supporters said they will accept whatever decision the SC will give.

Esquilon said the long delay of the decision is possibly a tactic which is prolonging the agony of waiting of the BBM supporters.

“Last week, we were here and we want now to have the decision. We are conducting to silent protest here to show our oneness in supporting Bongbong Marcos,” Esquilon said.

The supporters came from Baguio City, La Trinidad, Benguet, Pangasinan, La Union and Ilocos Sur, supporters in Metro Manila, Ilocos region, and parts of Visayas and Mindanao have also started their protests.

“We do not want this that there is a delay and we want to know who really won during the National election last May 2016, even if some of us came from far places, we are still here and we still support Bongbong Marcos,” Esquilon ended. (Ian Jefrey Addatu)
