'Drug pusher' killed in Danao shootout

A SUSPECTED drug pusher was killed in a shootout with the police around 4 a.m. Thursday, May 4, in Barangay Ylaya, Danao City.

The police identified the suspect as Joseph Ryan Ebardoni, who allegedly shot the officers several times in an attempt to escape arrest.

Ebardoni succumbed to gunshot wounds in different parts of his body. He was rushed to a hospital, but did not make it there alive.

Seized from Ebardoni were 12 packs of crystal meth (locally known as "shabu") worth P300,000 and a loaded handgun. (SunStar Cebu)
