POLICE on duty during the escape of four escapees from the Tagum City Police Station detention cell will be filed with administrative charges next week.

The Police Regional Office- Davao Region is yet to name those who will be held liable after the pieces of evidence have been gathered and reviewed.

In a phone interview, PRO-11 spokesperson Supt. Antonio Rivera said the Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Division has subjected for evaluation all those who are present during the day of the incident to determine the officers' culpability.

He said they will also let the police officers give their counter-affidavit next week.

Last Tuesday, June 9, four escapees managed to escape during the heavy downpour early in the morning. They were reported to have exited through the main door of the police station, which is located just outside the Tagum City Hall.

Authorities were able to recapture the fugitives in separate man-hunt operations.

Two minor escapees were nabbed in the village of Poblacion, Nabunturan in Compostella Valley while the remaining two suspects John Gudin and Jasper Salas were arrested inside a lodging house in Digos City. (With reports from KRP)
