PAUL Soriano was unable to hold back tears when he saw his bride, Toni Gonzaga, for the first time during their wedding on Friday, June 12, at Taytay Methodist Church in Rizal.
A video circulating on social media shows the teary-eyed "Kid Kulafu" director upon seeing the television host-actress in her Vera Wang gown. She was also in tears as he walks down the aisle to her groom.
The couple got emotional during their wedding.
"Every time I would ask you, 'Why are you choosing to stay with me?' You would simply answer, 'Because I love you.' For eight years, you have fought for your position in my life, and there were times when I would see you get tired. But there was never a time you gave up," the bride said.
Soriano, on his part, thanked God for blessing him with Gonzaga and promised the TV host to love her for the rest of their lives.
"I love you so much. I'm all yours. I'm going to protect you, and I'm going to do my best to give you that love that your parents gave you. I know your parents love you so much. I will do my best to love you like they did for 31 years," he said.
