STO. TOMAS -- Mayor Joselito Naguit recently expressed joy over the increasing number of investors trooping to this town.

Rising are a number of gasoline stations, supermarkets, stores and shops along the stretch of McArthur Highway in barangays San Matias and Moraz Dela Paz.

"We are very happy about investors coming here in Sto. Tomas. Probably because they know that the town is now flood-free and our local economy is more vibrant," Naguit said.

He added that big investors like Red Camia and Puregold spearheaded the investments boom in the fourth class municipality.

"Magkakaroon na rin kami ng Jollibee dito at marami pang commercial establishments," Naguit said.
