AFTER a successful car show last year, the 2nd Bacolod Autoshow is again at the SMX Convention Center Bacolod. It opened last Thursday and will run until Sunday, May 14.

This year’s Autoshow Bacolod has Total Lubricants as event presenter. Other major industry players include Ford Negros Occidental, Mazda Negros, Harley-Davidson of Cebu and Ironman 4x4 Philippines.

Other event participants include Auto Elite Corporation, BW Auto Parts, Centerline Car Audio and Accessories, Citibank, Ford Motors Negros, Harley-Davidson of Cebu, Ironman 4x4 Philippines, Metrobank Card Corp., RM Southern Trading, RCBC, Team Spada, Total Project Y, and Western Electronics.

Dayton Llamas, national sales manager of Total Lubricants, said the company is very bullish about Bacolod because of its strategic location in the heart of the Visayas and being the economic center of Negros Island.

This year’s Autoshow features new and exciting events like the summer Tamiya mini-races, product presentations by Total Lubricants and Mazda, entertainment numbers and the popular Autoshow car competitions, featuring classic, vintage and contemporary cars, big bikes, trucks and SUVs, among others.

Autoshow Bacolod is supported by the Land Transportation Office Bacolod which will conduct a seminar during the event on the latest motoring updates and regulations.
