Capitol mid-year bonus due for release on May 15

ACTING Provincial Administrator Lucille Gelvolea said Provincial Government employees of Negros Occidental will start receiving their mid-year bonus on Monday, May 15.

Qualified to receive the mid-year bonus, is equivalent to a month’s salary, are about 2,000 permanent and casual employees.

“Almost all offices have been processing their papers so that the employees can receive their respective bonuses,” Gelvolea said.

It is given to augment the need of employees for enrolment and opening of classes, she added.

In Bacolod, the City Government has allocated P31.6 million for the mid-year bonus of its 1,491 regular and casual employees also set to be released on Monday.

At present, the city government has a total of 1,404 regular employees, 13 contractual employees, and 74 plantilla casuals. (TDE)
