Pusher, 4 junkies fall in drug raid

POLICE arrested a suspected drug pusher and four alleged junkies, including a 28-year-old mother, in a drug den raid in Barangay Danglag, Consolacion, northern Cebu on Sunday dawn, May 14.

Consolacion Police Chief Roderick Gonzales identified the pusher as Jerome Goc-ong Pepito, whose customers are motorcycle-for-hire drivers and construction workers.

The suspected drug users were identified as Arnold Herbieto Capangpangan, 43, Dennis Talisic Sasing, 30, Michael Capangpangan Mangilaya, 39, and Lyneth Mae Sasing Vega, 28.

Gonzales said Pepito tried to evade arrest when he noticed the presence of the operatives.

The suspect ran inside the house of Sasing, but he was still captured by the police.

Police seized several packs believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu and drug paraphernalia. (SunStar Cebu)
