PCSO turns over 2 ambulance units to Davao City

THE officials of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over to the City Government of Davao on Monday, May 15, two ambulance units that will be deployed to Marilog and Paquibato.

The City Government, led by City Administrator Zuleika Lopez, received the ambulance worth P1.5 million, each costing P750,000.

In an interview, Lopez said these new units will help improve the delivery of services of the city to far-flung areas.

"It will greatly improve the delivery of our services in the city of Davao considering that it is also a priority of Byaheng DO30 of the administration of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio." Lopez said.

She added that PCSO has always been the partner of the City Government and she has no idea how many units the PCSO donated to the city over the years.

She added that currently, the PCSO is the city's partner in Lingap services.

"Marami kaming ongoing na engagement with them one is the one stop shop of Lingap. They complement the financial assistance provided by the city," she added.

Lopez assured that those who will be deployed in the areas of assignments will not face security problems.

"We ensure that everything will be safe before it will be endorsed," she added.
