ELEVEN suspected drug pushers, including a doctor, were arrested in separate drug busts in the villages of Mambaling, Talamban and Sta. Cruz, Cebu City.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Visayas caught four suspected drug personalities around 2:35 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, in Barangay Alaska Mambaling.
The suspects were identified as Jade Polbos, 28; Romerico Palapar, 21; Ramonito Rabasol, 42; and Jayson Abellana, 19.
Seized from the suspects were 310 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, worth P744,000.
On Monday, May 15, a doctor was caught visiting a drug den around 7:20 p.m. in Barangay Sta. Cruz.
Authorities arrested doctor John Paul Camello, 37; Eduardo Hermogino, 35, the drug den’s operator; and suspected drug pushers Aaron Lao, 39; Freola Eras, 43; Rommel Nabaluna, 46; and Jerome Señoron, 29.
The suspects yielded 175 grams of shabu worth P350,000.
On the same day, PDEA nabbed a drug suspect in a subdivision in Barangay Talamban.
Authorities caught Nelson Tajanlangit Orillo, who yielded P600,000 worth of shabu. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
