I.A Campbell and Associates, the group that manages the construction of the towers, has made sure that the structural design of Aeon Towers is based on the international standards for designing towers in earthquake prone areas.
"You have to design it in a way that the building has stiffness and flexibility," Ian Campbell, president of I.A Campbell and Associates, during the topping-off ceremony of Aeon Towers Tuesday, February 28. He added that the ratio of the rebar, concrete, and the sizes of columns and beams all go together in the structural design of the building.
The first five floors will house business establishments while the sixth floor will be dedicated to the amenities. Floor seven to eight and 29 to 31 will house the hotel. The ninth to 28th and 32nd to 33rd floors will be the residential units. The topmost floor will be the location of the Skydeck offering a majestic view of Davao City and its surrounding areas.
Aeon Towers features fiber optic ready units, WiFi connection in common areas, spacious high speed passenger elevators, advance fire protection alarm and sprinkler system, provision of complete facilities for every unit, green building technology like the use of UV protected glass, and 24/7 CCTV camera.
The residential tower also features amenities that will definitely make those living here relaxed and truly at home. Some of the amenities include the pool, spa, fitness gym, a library, and a meeting and conference room. The sixth floor, where most of the amenities are located will also have a jogging path.
