New Boracay resort eyes Central Luzon market

CLARK FREEPORT -- A newly-opened tourism estate in the world-famous Boracay Island is eyeing Central Luzon and other parts of Luzon Island as potential market.

Adie Gallares, general manager of Savoy Hotel, said that they consider tourists, businessmen, government workers and officials in Central Luzon and North Luzon as a potential market in their township project.

rThe Cebu Pacific, in cooperation with the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 6 and Savoy Hotel, sponsored a familiarization tours for the newsmen following the launching of its Clark-Caticlan route.

Savoy Hotel, which is located inside a 140-hectare at the Boracay Newcoast, is a four-star hotel and the first and only master-planned leisure oriented community in the island.

The hotel features 559 room, a restaurant (Savoy Café), a huge swimming pool, with lounges and pavilion pool bar, meeting rooms, and banquet facilities, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a spa.

Surrounding the hotel is a huge party pool, the first and only concert pool arena in the country with adult wading pool and pool deck with cabanas and lounges.

The opening promo rates start at P5,900 per night from May 1 to July 310.

Savoy Hotel also offers soft opening sale of P4,500 per night extended until June 30, 2017.

“The design of the hotel, which was done by Singaporean-based FB Eye, is very modern because we want to touch minds and pulse of the millennial market. You noticed that it is also colorful that is we created our tagline Color Your Experience,” Gallares said.

Gallares said two other hotels, Belmont and Chancellor, are now being constructed inside the tourism estate to augment Savoy’s room capacity.

“Magiging 1,564 rooms na kami dito in the next three years,” Gallares said.
