OFTEN on daytime drives, when it's just Chiara and I, we discuss a lot of topics, from the mundane to the profound, from the esoteric to the existential.
Sometimes we just listen to our favorite crossover instrumentals in silent companionship, putting the volume to full, letting the notes make our heart chakras bloom.
I also get to do a lot of cloud watching, identifying shapes, and pointing out the interesting ones to Chiara.
Nephelococcygia is the scientific term for the art of cloud watching, of identifying shapes in the cloud formations.
Did you know that seeing angel shaped clouds or feather or wing shaped ones are signs of angel presence? If you are asking a question, seeing these shapes is an affirmative, meaning you can move forward, and you are watched over.
On this particular drive, we were talking about the uncertainty of a particular situation, whether it was synchronistic and meant to be. Since I was scouting the clouds, I declared that I would ask for an angel sign, and if I saw a cloud that was shaped like an angel or a cherub, that would put an end to my questions. I declared that the cloud had to be clear, and present by 5:00 p.m.
What's funny is, not 10 seconds later, Chiara was pointing out a cloud to my left, when the words 'just like an angel' from the song 'creep' came over the sound system.
My eyes widened, I had goosebumps. Chiara's playlist was on shuffle, mostly instrumental, and this song with lyrics had crept in.
We could only laugh out loud. The sign was clear enough, but I missed the angel cloud.
Not two hours later, I sighted one, right in front of me, a bright white angel, upper wings outstretched, rising out from the gray clouds.

I have another picture that reminds me of Michaelangelo's Cherubs.
Reminds me of the first time I asked for the butterfly as an angel sign. It took a while, but when it came, it changed our faith completely.
I've also asked for other signs. The last one was for white roses. Why and how, I'll tell you about it sometime...
Angel clouds. Angel signs. They are around us, they hear us, they watch over us.
