DAVAO CITY - Ang bag-ong patrol strategy sa Davao City Police Office (DCPO) nga gitawag og "Integrated Revitalized Operation of Neighborhood–Watch for the Mega City" o "Iron City" maoy mokomplemento sa pagpatuman sa martial law sa Mindanao.
"It seems timely yung ating Oplan Iron City because the program of our Davao City government mas makakasuporta ngayon sa pagpapalaganap ng katahimikan dito sa Davao City," tin-aw ni DCPO chief Alexander Tagum.
Ang Iron City, nga bag-ohay lang mipalihok sa 900 ka mga police auxiliaries, motabang sa pulis sa pagpatrolya sa siyudad.
Matud ni Senior Superintendent Tagum nga mga auxiliaries gipakatap sa halos tibuok kanto sa siyudad.
Ang police auxiliaries kabahin sa P43-million budget nga gialokar sa siyudad nga maglakip sa honorarium (P6,000 matag bulan), training (self-defense, first aid, patrolling, pag-ila sa mga kadudahan nga tawo ug mga butang) ug uniporme/himan nga naglakip sa baston, handcuffs ug first aid kit.
