A 50-YEAR-OLD widower was killed by an unidentified assailant in Sitio Kab-asan, Barangay Marmol, Tuburan last Wednesday.
Police identified the fatality as Servando Aparicio who succumbed to gunshot wounds in the chest.
Before he was found dead, Aparicio went to the house of Guadalupe Librea, his live-in partner.
He then went to his farm at 6 a.m.
At 9:30 a.m., Aparicio’s son, Renante, heard five gunshots while he was cooking breakfast.
Renante asked Peter Dorado, a tanod, to accompany him to their farm, where they found the body of the victim.
