SAMAL Island will always be a summer destination to consider.
When in Samal, formally known as Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos), it is always a challenge to decide which beach resort to choose. True, there may be a lot of resorts in the island, but Cavanicoil Mare always stands out.

The eight-hectare resort is located at Camudmud, Babak, Igacos in
Davao del Norte. Just a background, Cavanico was formerly known as Pacific Heights resort in 2014.
Entering the place, one will definitely be amazed by its interiors and aesthetics. It is artistically executed. The view of its rooms, bamboo-made structures, fan-like roofs, landscapes and white sand beach will truly give one the “feels” of a vacation.
The resort offers day tour and overnight staycation. For as low as
P250 per head, one can enjoy the beach, plunge into the saltwater, dip in its four ft. pool, or laze under their huts by the shore.
For those who want to spend a night in the beach, rooms are available for family, group of friends and couples. Its rooms are reasonably priced with free shuttle to and from the wharf, and free breakfast.
The resort can accommodate some 800 to 1,000 guests during day tour and 250 people for overnight stay.
If you want to try more summer activities than just swimming, one can rent kayaks, rowboats, jet skis, and speedboat.
Also, one attraction of the resort is its underwater statue of the Virgin
Mary, a must-see for divers.
Cavanico is also perfect for team buildings, celebrations and family or friends’ reunion.
To secure safety, all rooms have fire alarms and fire detectors. The resort also has a dozen of security agents all day long to keep the place safe, a necessity for every resort accommodation.
A clinic is also established inside the resort to cater the emergency and health-related customers’ needs.
Cavanico is a work in progress resort. The management plans to build a hotel, convention hall, mangrove walk, sunken bar, pools and other facilities.
