AN engineer of a government-owned and controlled corporation was arrested for allegedly threatening a jeepney driver at gunpoint at the corner of Pelaez and P. Del Rosario Sts., Barangay Kamagayan, Cebu City last Friday night.
The Parian Police Station identified the engineer as Rene Cabardo, 51, who was caught by a responding Special Weapons and Tactics team after he reportedly threatened Trifom Labag, 38, with a caliber .45 pistol over traffic altercation.
He showed documents for the registration of his gun but failed to present his permit to carry it outside of his residence.
