AN UNIDENTIFIED woman was found floating dead in the river in Sitio Aljos, Barangay Usmad, Argao, southern Cebu on Saturday afternoon, May 27.
The woman was beyond recognition, as her body was in advanced state of decomposition.
Usmad resident Venerando Sanchez Panerio, 46, found the dead body.
The woman in underwear was believed to be a certain "Ayayay," a mentally-ill woman who went missing after she was seen taking a bath in a river.
Police buried the body in a public cemetery. (SunStar Cebu)
