GrabTrike drivers in Angeles City note income increase

MABALACAT CITY -- Drivers in Angeles City who joined the new transportation program GrabTrike have observed an increase of P2,000 to P2,500 in their monthly income.

Councilor Amos Rivera said that majority of the 300 GrabTrike drivers revealed the increase of their income after joining the program.

The city’s Grab Trike which was conceptualized by Rivera, Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan and Grab Pampanga officials, was implemented to protect the riding public from fare overpricing, colorum tricycles, and other faults, according to Rivera.

Grab Trike is available initially in three zones, namely Barangays Pulung Maragul, Balibago, Cutud, Pulung Cacutud, Sapa Libutad (Zone 1), Pandan, Marisol, Tabun, Capaya, Mining, Salapungan, Lourdes Sur East, Santo Cristo (Zone 2), and Santo Domingo, Pulung Bulu, San Jose, Santo Rosario, Santo Cristo, Agapito Del Rosario, and San Nicolas (Zone 3).
