A WOMAN was found dead in a river in Sitio Aljos, Barangay Usmad, Argao last Saturday afternoon. The woman could no longer be recognized as her body was decomposing. Her face and body were darkened by wounds. Resident Venerando Panerio, 46, found the body while he was picking fallen coconuts past 12 p.m. The woman was half-naked. Investigators believed that the woman was a certain “Ayayay,” a mentally-ill person who went missing after taking a bath in the river. Police buried the body in a public cemetery in Poblacion. KAL
