SUMMER loving requires outfits on fleek for one does not simply put on a bathing suit for the beach, one must conceptualize a whole closet of summer outfits with careful thought and love which includes the get-up before, during and after getting wet. Ironically, the heat which requires one to bare more skin, requires more careful planning.

Rustan’s understands the meticulousness of planning a whole summer vacation which revolves around the outfits. It is for this reason that Rustan’s in Ayala Center Cebu invited in-house designers Criselda Lontok, Jojie Lloren and Pia Regala Hebron for a personal fashion consultation with its clients while kicking off its Summer 2017 collection last April 27 in an event called Rustan’s Styling Session.

The styling sessions were flocked by many of Rustan’s very important clients. Criselda, known for her own brand which is a big favorite among the fashionable mature crowd, provided plays on print combinations, colors, varied line and a showcase of different silhouettes whilst featuring Filipino craft and fabric.

Rustan’s JILL designer Jojie Lloren, winner of the Philippine Young Designers Competition and the Concours International des Jeunes Createurs de Mode in Paris, provided trendy get-ups for the younger audience who looks for the next head turning and trend-setting outfit for summer.

“Collaborating with Rustan’s JILL excites me because designing for the country’s foremost luxury department store is very challenging. I have been learning something new ever since I joined them. I am part of a strong team of creative, dedicated and inspired group of people who love what they do for Rustan’s,” said Lloren.

The creative mind behind Lady Rustan, Pia Regala-Hebron provides design aesthetics that revolve around clean lines and feminine sillhouettes. Having had the privilege to design creations that women can turn and return to, for Lady Rustan, Regala-Hebron favors classic and timeless pieces in fabrics and colors that transcend the usual dictates of challenging seasons. Achieving a look that is polished and elegant yet easy to wear and comfortable, she succeeds at defining the true Lady Rustan woman.
