Man shot dead in Moalboal, Cebu

A 41-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding assailants around 6:50 p.m. Thursday, June 1, in Sitio Sioux, Barangay Poblacion East, Moalboal, Cebu.

Police identified the victim as Gerald Domosmog, who succumbed to gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.

Investigation showed Domosmog drinking with his friends when he was attacked. No other persons were hit.

The assailants wore full-faced helmets.

Domosmog was rushed to Badian District Hospital, but he did not reach the hospital alive.

Recovered from the crime scene were eight empty shells, three slugs, a dud bullet, and a .45 magazine with three bullets. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
