GIKLARO ni Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte nga wa maapil ang iyang asawa nga si Councilor January Duterte sa insidente nga Resorts World Manila.
Ang bise mayor gilayong nagpagula og pamahayag human sa mga nanggawas nga istorya nga usa ang iyang asawa sa mga na-trap sud sa hotel nga gikamatay sa 37 ka mga tawo.
"That my wife was not gambling at the Resorts World Manila at the time of the attack. The reports were impossible because Councilor January does not go to the casino because she does not gamble. That night, she was at home with me and my children," unang bahin sa pamahayag sa bise mayor.
Giingong usa ka mistaken identity ang nahitabo gumikan nabaniog nga dunay usa ka Lovelie Sangkola Sumera ang naapil sa pagka-trap, nga giingon nga si Councilor Duterte, tungod si Lovelie Sangkola Sumera ang padayong nag-angkon nga maoy unang asawa sa bise mayor.
"And true enough, Lovelie Sangkola Sumera was at the casino complex that night it was attacked. Now that I offered to tell the truth, she has the audacity of portraying herself as the victim, dragging our children into it -- apparently to attract pity," dugang pagpasabot sa bise mayor.
