CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- If there’s one more wish - aside from good health – it is the realization of the Pampanga Cultural Center.
This is what socio-civic leader and Foundation for Lingap Kapampangan, Inc. president Ma. Teresa Laus had in mind before she blew the candle on her cake during her and daughter Carisa’s twin birthday celebration at the Laus Group Event Centre here.
“Of course, I always pray for good health. But for this year, I wish for the realization of our very own cultural center. That is why, we have this Philippine Madrigal Singers concert for a cause on June 23, [7 p.m.] here at the Laus Group Event Centre,” shared Laus, who has always been credited as “the ever supportive wife” by husband Levy P. Laus, chair and CEO of the Laus Group of Companies, for his and the conglomerate’s success.
“I hope that Kapampangans will help us build the Kapampangan Cultural Center as this will be a dream come true for all of us. With the help of our FLKI friends, we can make it happen,” she added.
Meanwhile, daughter Carisa’s wish is for her mom’s dreams to come true.
“I and my siblings all wish and pray for her good health and success. We love her and we would want her to be successful in her endeavours always as she really shares her blessings,” she said. (JTD)
