FIVE drug suspects were arrested in separate drug bust operations in three cities of Negros Occidental.
The drug suspect identified as Erenio Bajilidad, 33, resident of Barangay Robles, La Castellana town, was arrested at Barangay 1 in La Carlota City Monday June 5.
Confiscated from Bajilidad were three sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride or "shabu," drug paraphernalia, weighing scale, cellular phone, and the P500 marked money.
Meanwhile in Himamaylan City, Carlos Tiaga Jr., 31, of Purok Fortune, Barangay Balikutok, Ilog town was arrested for sale and possession of illegal drugs at Barangay 3 on June 2.
The police also seized from him a knife and two sachets of shabu.
Tiaga was first arrested for vagrancy in front of a school, a crime of wandering about without employment or identifiable means of support.
In Bacolod City, police operative also arrested three other persons, including a targeted local drug personality at Purok Paraiso, Sitio Sibucao, Barangay Banago on Sunday after they sold shabu to a police agent for P200.
Police identified the suspects as Diane Mirasol, 31, of Barangay Banago, and Raffy Magtubo, 35 and Mimpe Francisco, 34, both residents of Barangay Bata.
Mirasol is a drug personality under the street and local target list of Police Station 3.
The three also yielded five sachets of shabu and the P200 marked money.
