CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Former Third District Representative Oscar Rodriguez extended his condolences to incumbent Congressman Aurelio Gonzales, Jr. whose wife Elizabeth died in the attack at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City on June 2.
Rodriguez said that he is deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Elizabeth, whom he had personally known during his early years in politics.
“Si Beth ay naging bahagi ng aking buhay at pulitika pagkat siya ay isa sa mga unang youth leader at ako ay taos-pusong nakikiramay sa kanyang pamilya,” he said.
Rodriguez said that Elizabeth was one of his youth leaders during his first term as Pampanga representative as the latter served as Youth Council chairperson in Mexico town.
The remains of Elizabeth lie in state at the Anao Parish Church in Mexico town.
