P312,000 in cash, jewelry stolen

AN ESTIMATED P252,000 worth of assorted jewelry, gadgets and appliances, and cash amounting to P60,000 were stolen by unidentified men at a residence in Mt. Carmel Subdivision, Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City Monday, June 5.

House owner Leah Novero, 35, discovered around 2 p.m. that some of her valuables were missing.

Investigation showed that her neighbors saw a white vehicle without plate number in front of her house. The vehicle was boarded by five men and a woman.

They destroyed the padlock of the gate and the grills of the sliding door.

The robbers carted away a flat screen television worth P50,000, DVD player worth P20,000, Magic Sing karaoke worth P12,000, assorted jewelry worth P170,000, two cellular phones, a USB flash drive, and cash. (GYM)
