BONIEL. The first cousin of Bohol Board Member Niño Rey Boniel confessed Thursday evening, June 8, that Bien Unido Mayor Gisela Boniel was shot and killed by her husband.

MARTIAL LAW. House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez warned that the two co-equal branches of government might go head to head if the Supreme Court (SC) will issue a directive and compel both houses of Congress to convene and discuss the Mindanao-wide martial law.

EVIDENCE. The Department of Justice (DOJ) said there is no "direct" evidence that will prove that the Eastern Visayas Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) policemen planned the killing of Albuera, Leyte mayor Rolando Espinosa and his fellow inmate Raul Yap at the Baybay, Leyte Sub-provincial jail last November.
