THE Visayan Electric Company (Veco) kaibigan Labor-Management Cooperation celebrated its 4th LMC Week last April 24 to 29.
The Veco LMC was launched in April 2013 to foster camaraderie among the management, employees and members of the Visayan Electric Company Employees Union.
Activities included championship game of the inter-department basketball tournament, police’s Operation Tokhang orientation and bomb detection, and a talk on retirement and other benefits of the Social Security System and Pag-Ibig and the Magna Carta for Women by a representative from the labor department.
A free circumcision, Operation Tuli, in Sitio Tabla, Barangay Sudlon 1 in Cebu City highlighted the celebration. It was organized in partnership with the Central Command and the St. John the Baptist Parish of Sudlon.
A total of 18 Veco kaibigans helped Central Command doctors in the free circumcision that served 33 boys.
The week-long celebration ended last April 29 with the holding of the Kaibigan Kasadya sa Kainit at the Ateneo de Cebu grounds.
