Civic military parade brings Fernandino sectors together

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - The civic military parade during the Independence Day on Monday, June 12, has brought together different sectors of the city.

The parade started at 6 a.m., with government employees, military personnel, students, non government organizations and students joining the celebration.

The parade featured students carrying dozens of flags as well as mechanized units from the Philippine Army.

Personnel of the Department of Agriculture, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Science and Technology, among others, also joined the parade.

The City Tourism Office said that the event is part of the city's advocacy to promote awareness of the celebration among the young.
